‘LANDSCAPE’ DISH
16TH CENTURY

明十六世紀 青花山水紋盤

The dish is decorated to the interior roundel with
a mountainous river landscape scene, a band
of eight bird and fower cartouches on a diaper
ground encircles the rim. The exterior is decorated
with three fowering branches, each with a bird
perched amongst foliage.
