A LARGE FAMILLE ROSE ‘LANDSCAPE’ VASE
REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912-1949)
民國 粉彩通景山水紋瓶
The vase is decorated with a continuous design of scholars and their attendants in a rocky, mountainous
landscape winding their way up a tree-lined path towards a pavilion. The reverse is further embellished
with fshermen in boats in a watery river landscape. The base is painted with a four-character iron red
Shende tangzhi mark.
