     A FINELY ENAMELLED FAMILLE ROSE ‘PEONY AND BUTTERFLY’ VASE
     REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912-1949)

     民國 粉彩花卉紋橄欖瓶

     The vase is elegantly potted and the exterior fnely enamelled with a pair of butterfies in fight above six
     large peony fowers of various colours. The mouth and foot rims are decorated in gilt. The base has an
     apocryphal Qianlong six-character seal mark in underglaze-blue.
