The dish is boldly decorated to the interior with fve lotus blooms growing from PROVENANCE:
leafy scrolling foliage. The exterior is decorated with four auspicious emblems
tied with ribbons. Private European Collection, acquired prior to 1990.

BOWL
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
清康熙 青花歲寒三友圖碗 [慎德堂博古制]款
The bowl is decorated to the exterior with the Three Friends of
Winter, Sui han san you, bamboo, pine and prunus, growing from
rocks beside lingzhi sprigs. The interior is painted with a central
roundel depicting bamboo and rocks. There is a six-character shen
de tang bo gu zhi mark to the base.
