The oval-shaped jardinière is decorated with a continuous riverside                  July 2005, lot 243.
landscape depicting fgures at leisurely pursuits amongst trees and
pavilions. The neck is decorated with fower sprigs, the shoulder fanked
by Buddhist lion-mask handles.

清十九世紀 木嵌大理石方幾

Each square-formed wood stand is raised on four legs surmounted by a
lion mask and inset with a marble top. The sides are carved with hanging
borders of scrolling lotus and geometrical scrolls.
