A LARGE CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL VASE
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The elongated ovoid body is enameled with
leafy lotus scroll between a ruyi-head border
and upright petal lappets. The trumpet neck
is decorated with further lotus scroll above
a band of upright lappets and is fanked by a
pair of bat-shaped handles, below a band of
key-fret pattern around the mouth rim.

The faring trumpet-shaped neck and
spreading foot are decorated with archaistic
blades separated by blossoming prunus scroll
beneath a key-fret border encircling the
mouth rim.
