A PAIR OF PAINTED ENAMEL PANELS
18TH-19TH CENTURY

The rectangular panels are painted in bright colors with ladies, boys and attendants engaged in
various leisurely activities in lakeside palace gardens, some drinking wine in pavilions, some
carrying hoes, from which hang baskets of fowers, some seated in a boat and holding a vase of
lotus fowers, and some watching another lady painting on a rock table; within painted wood
frames.
