A GILT AND POLYCHROMED WOOD FIGURE OF GUANYIN
YUAN DYNASTY, (1279-1368)
The bodhisattva sits in dhyanasana on a lotus base with the right hand
raised in vitarkamudra and the left resting on his knee. He is clad in
long, fowing robes, and his benevolent face is surmounted by a tall
diadem centered by a diminutive image of Amitabha.
