A QINGBAI PETAL-LOBED BOX AND COVER

SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY, 12TH-13TH CENTURY

The box and cover are formed as six petals, and the cover is relief-decorated with a leafy
fower stem within a triple line border. The exterior and interior of the box are covered with a
transparent glaze of pale aqua-blue tone.
