           A LARGE YELLOW-GLAZED BOWL

           GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN
           UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD
           (1875-1908)

           The bowl has deep rounded sides rising to a
           slightly fared rim from a straight foot, and is
           covered inside and out with a glaze of deep
           yellow tone.

           VASE

           GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN
           UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD
           (1875-1908)

           The vase, of square section, is molded on
           each side with the Eight Trigrams (bagua),
           and is covered overall, including the base,
           with a bright dark blue glaze that thins to a
           paler tone on the edges.
