         QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
                                                           ࣇݦڬᝳ㠺ǯӬڬߴ厍Ǹ㨒ԋ⊏⒢ᷪ⩧ݏ卿ऒ⽔㛢፽᠎ऒ㲞卿
         The square seal is inscribed to two sides, one with a twenty-eight
                                                           ൃݬ㦔Ɽ㯪ཎໃ卿✄ᅳ▵ഺℱႤෂ卿㫝㚧ǹ卿፽ἃ᳖ߝ㉓மᏒ
         character poetic inscription signed Xuecun, the other with a
                                                           ߴǯ㉓ம卿ໃआ㊽卿 ⽚㫝ឭ卿 ؒ໶卻ի◙ᅤ卼՞卿᰻㔮ᙻᄮ㫇
         nine-character inscription. The seal face is carved in relief with a
                                                           ݦង卿੓㉼ǮᝧǮ⊺ǯ
         four-character inscription, Fu shi baocang, ‘Treasured collection of
         Fu. The translucent stone has a warm amber-honey colour with
                                                           औӬڬߴ厍Ǹ❥ຽྏ卿ᖝआ❨卿㙖⊂ߴǹǯࣇ㬷បᙔ厍Ǹڶ᭄
         characteristic ‘radish veining’.

         Xuecun is the pseudonym of the early-Qing scholar-official   ԋஇ᳖ջⶬलᝧ⊺།Ǯ❨ߴ།ǯڶᡞ卻         卼卿ໃຽᅴ卿
         from Fujian, Xu Jun (dates unknown), who was known for   ⽚❥ຽ卿㞖⒢།卿ൃ㫀ࣇ卿Ք⬒ᯎࣇ卿㑤Ԡ㌊ᝪἃձߴࣇǯប
         his poetry, paintings and calligraphy. The nine-character   ሂᇟ卻⊂ࢳӶ㊄卼卿㑤Ԡ㌊㵶ᅾ卿႙ߴࣇǯ
         inscription indicates that the seal was later carved by Zhu
         Zhifu (dates unknown), a student of Zhao Zhiqian (1829-1884),
         for another contemporary scholar and epigraphist Fu Shi
         (1850-1903).
