The brush pot is of cylindrical form. The exterior is carved and
)FMFO % -JOH Ⅷ⻦卿 ჺ ᝲ ᚚ㐟ᙻᙲ࠼
applied with a continuous scene depicting a lotus pond with an
㛖ݐ◶Ⅷ⻦
egret in flight towards a pond of tall stalks of lotus flowers, leaves
and waterweeds. All are picked-out in pink, green, black and
turquoise. The base is impressed with the artist’s mark, Wang
Bingrong zuo, within a rectangle.
