                peony and chrysanthemum meanders on
                an iron-red ground boldly outlined in black,
                surmounted by four lion-masks suspending
                rings and stylized lotus blossoms, the rim
                with bands of scrolling lotus, keyfret, and
                ruyi heads, the foot with a band of pendent
                green lappets bordered below by scalloped
                polychrome bands, coll. no. 1330.
