each with deep, rounded sides rising from a short
straight foot to an everted rim, decorated to
the exterior with a frieze of stylized peony scroll
above a petal-lappet border, the interior with
a single bloom issuing leaves within a central
roundel, the base with a six-character mark within
a double circle in underglaze blue (2)

foot, the interior with a central medallion densely
decorated with a foliated peony scroll bearing
seven blossoms with spiky petals and spindly
stems, all within a double-line border repeated at
the rim, the exterior similarly painted with nine
evenly spaced peonies wreathed in foliage, the
base with a six-character mark within a double
circle in underglaze blue
