A LARGE GILT-SPLASHED BRONZE VASE
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
the baluster-form body with an angular shoulder rising to
a trumpet mouth, the waisted neck set to each side with a
scrolling ruyi-form handle, all raised on a splayed foot, the rich
bronze surface artfully ecked with irregular gold splashes, the
inset base with a recessed rectangular cartouche enclosing an
apocryphal Xuande seal mark
