and well-polished stone is of a milky white tone with some cloudy inclusions.

A WHITE JADE LOTUS-FORM BRUSH WASHER
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The stone is naturalistically modeled as a hollowed lotus blossom rendered in
multiple layers of petals, the base carved with a leafy stem that bears a smaller
lotus fower. It is further carved on the rim with a bird, its wings outspread.
