A FINELY CARVED WHITE JADE INK STONE
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The ink stone is carved on one end with a shallow well bordered by a dragon amidst ruyi-form clouds, and
with crested waves at the other end. The reverse is similarly decorated with ruyi-form clouds. The stone is
of an even white tone with a few minor areas of russet inclusions.
