saucers decorated with a cock on a rock at flowering peony plants. Both of them were
signed with the inscription ‘honor and wealth, written on the day of the flowers in the
year jiachen [1724] in a beautiful house on the Zhujiang river’ (功名富贵甲辰苍朝
写于珠江精舍).
