TWO CARVED CORAL FIGURES OF IMMORTALS
Qing Dynasty
The first figure of a coiffured lady clasping a peach in both hands, with
a sinuous profile, beside a young boy holding a square kite, wood
stand; the second of a slim lady, probably Xi Wangmu, wearing long
robes, stood atop a large swooping phoenix and amongst a dense
floral arrangement, fixed wood stand. The largest: 19cm (7 1/2in) high
(2).

ACOLYTE
18th/19th century
The figure carved seated at ease with long robes, the hands holding
a lotus stem curling over the left shoulder, crowned with a tiara, wood
stand.
