Kangxi six-character mark and of the period
Enamelled to the exterior with four sinuous, Ming-style, five-clawed
dragons against a white ground dotted with billowing clouds, all above
tumultuous waves and below a honey-comb border at the rim, the
centre with a further iron red dragon amidst clouds within a double-
circle. 19cm (7 1/2in) diam.

The present lot is an example of Kangxi revival of Ming designs; an
example attributed to the Chenghua period is in the Palace Museum,
