The semi-translucent, pale, even stone
carved in reticulation with two sinuous kui
dragons clambering its flanks in pursuit of
a flaming pearl beside wisps of delicately
carved, billowing clouds, all beneath mock-
embossed, paired archaistic mask-and-ring
handles, the cover with recumbent phoenix
finial, wood stand.
