Western Jin Dynasty
The tapering oviform body decorated with
applied moulded turtles and Buddha figures,
the elaborately detailed cover with hierarchical
bands of figures, with a funeral procession
featuring a stele, a flock of doves with small
vats at the four corners, crowned with a
miniature walled villa, all covered in a thin
greyish-green glaze, box. 52cm (20 1/2in)
high

Yuan/Ming Dynasty
The vessel covered in a thick sky-blue
phase-separated glaze, thinning to a streaky
mushroom hue at the rim, a pale violet splash
at the rim interior, the glaze falling short of the
foot.
