Painted in blue upon a Perfume Burner of choice
Mikawachi porcelain. Bunk-wa, Shin-bi no toshi Kuwa-na
Ko no mei ni ozite kore o seisu. This is made by command
of the Prince of Kiiwana in the period Bunkwa, the Zodiac
year of the Sheep, 1804-1818 a.d.

Painted in blue upon a Dish of porcelain decorated in
blue. Nan-sen-zan Hi-guchi tsukuru. Made by Nansenzan
Higuchi.

The Kushide mark, used upon porcelain, decorated in
blue, made at the Ohokawachi factory subsequent to its
removal from Iwayagama to its present position, in the
neighbourhood of Arita, in 1710 a.d. Examples marked in
this manner are known as comb-teeth ware.
