Painted in gold, upon red grounds, on a Bowl of early
ware. Ku-tani, Sei. The lower mark, Sei^ is the mark of
the maker, probably a contraction of the name of Seiundo.

Painted in black, upon a panel of green, on a Bowl
of modern polychromatic ware. Dai Nip-pon, Ku-tani
TSUKURU. Made in Kutani, Great Japan.
