TANi sEi. Ka-cho-ken. Kutani manufacture. Kachoken, the
professional name of the maker.

Painted in gold, upon a panel of red, on a Teapot of
similar ware to the preceding example. Ka-cho-ken seisu.
Made by Kachoken. It will be noticed that the word Ka-
cho is rendered by characters different to those used in
the Marks Nos. 170 to 172.
