No. 149.
Painted in black upon a Plate of ancient ware decorated
with green and yellow, made before gold was used. Sei-ka,
NEN SEi. Made in the period of Seika; a forgery of the Chinese
mark of the Tch’ing-hoa period, 1465-1487 a.d.
No. 150.
Painted in red upon a Saucer of similar ware to
example No. 149. The mark is the same as that above.
No. 151.
Painted in gold, upon a panel of red, on a Bowl of
early ware. Ku-tani, Kioku-zan. Kiitani^ Kiokuzan the
name of the maker and the place where the piece was made.
The characters are written in the old style.
