                 Painted   in  red  upon  a Vase    of  semi-porcelain, made
            in Satsuma.     Chiu-sen-sai    Isi-watari Tiku-yen.      Isiwatari
            Tikuyen,  the name    of the  painter;   Chiusensai, probably the
            name   of the workshop.      The marks    at  the beginning and
            end  of the   inscription  are the  seals  of the  painter.

            Sima-uchi   Shin-zan yegaku.       Painted  by  Simaiichi Shinzan.
