To-kio, Hio-chi-yen seisu. Made by Hiochiyen, Tokio. No. 8.

Painted, upon a Plate of Kioto faience, in red and black,
the latter upon a splash of white enamel. To-kio, Oka
Chiu tsukuru. Made by Oka Chiu^ Tokio. The name of
the maker or painter is Okamura, but he has omitted the
latter part of it in this inscription, and added his second
name of Chiu.

TSUKURU. Made by Okamura^ Tokio. Probably this, and the
preceding specimen, were painted, not made, by the artist,
or artists, named.
