an adult female and a younger attendant beneath the branches of a
tree, the stone of creamy off-white hue.

A SPINACH JADE ARCHAISTIC VASE AND COVER
20th century
Of rectangular section with slightly bulging sides, the main sides
carved in low relief with bands of undulating lines and C-scolls,
classic scrolls, petal lappets, and taotie, the short sides carved with
ridges between petal lappet bands and set with open-work dragon
scroll handles suspending loose rings, the cover decorated en
suite, the translucent dark green stone with white, brown and black
inclusions.

Carved in form of an archaic wine vessel and raised on tripod feet
with flared rim bisected by two vertical posts, the surface carved with
fanciful carved geometric designs the stone an olive green color with
russet brown flacks throughout.
