A GROUP OF THREE POLYCHROME ENAMELED PORCELAIN
PLAQUES
Late Qing/Republic period
The first of horizontal rectangular form depicting a mounted archer and
two attendants on foot hunting in a riverside landscape, bearing a four
character Hongxian nian zhi mark in the lower left hand corner; the
second of horizontal rectangular form depicting an idyllic agricultural
village beneath an eight-stanza five-character poem bearing a
Qianlong bingshen date (equivalent to 1776) and three additional
red seals; the third of vertical rectangular section depicting elegant
figures and a monk on a pleasure boat amid churning waves lapping
against a rocky village landscape, all beneath a lengthy inscription of
Su Dongpo’s Hou Chibi fu and bearing a signature reading Shenyang
Tang Ying Shu (written by Tang Ying in Shenyang), as well as two seals
reading ya and wan.

Qianlong mark
Each bulb-form body tapering inward to a garlic-headed mouth, and
finely decorated with a beauty and children in a garden near a large
facetted rock, inscribed with a two line poem, a Qianlong mark at the
base.
