The exterior of the bowl is decorated with four circular medallions, The bowl has chamfered corners and each side is decorated with a
each containing one of the four characters wan shou wu jiang lotus blossom surrounded by leafy tendrils within an archaistic dragon
(‘boundless longevity’), surrounded by stylized lotus blooms on leafy panel interlocked with a bat and a ruyi head, all reserved on a pink
scrolls. The interior of the bowl is decorated in iron red in the center ground and below a gilded mouth rim.
