QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY ᙻ ჺջ㐟ᙻٳᘹ
The vase is elaborately carved to each side with a central lotus
amongst leafy foliage, surrounded by four of the Eight Buddhist ൣ
Emblems, Bajixiang, all below a band of cicadas and a band of ٳᘹ卿#VSMJOHUPO 'JOF "SUT $MVC卿Ƕ" $PMMFDUJPO PG 0CKFDUT PG
stylised dragons confronting a shou character. The shoulders are $IJOFTF "SUǷ卿 ჺ
carved with a pair of chrysanthemum handles with loose rings. The
cover is similarly decorated with further lotus blooms. ֩Ḝ
