‘CHRYSANTHEMUM’ STEM
BOWL
QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
The bowl is carved with fluted sides in imitation of
a chrysanthemum flower, supported on a tall foot
decorated with stylised lappet bands. The bowl and
stem are carved to the sides with foliate loops with
loose rings. The stone is of a rich dark green tone with
black speckled inclusions.

GREEN JADE OVAL BOX
AND COVER
19TH CENTURY
The box is carved to the sides with a wide band
of delicate floral sprays. The cover is carved with
further floral branches encircling a central panel
of flower heads and scrolling foliage. The stone is
of a rich spinach tone with some blackish mottled
inclusions.
