eft undecorated, this simple bowl with gently curving
Lwalls is coated in a thin layer of curdled celadon glaze.
The base is glazed but not the beveled footrim, which reveals
a gray body material. The bowl was fired on sand, the re-
mains of which can be seen on the base and footrim.
Utilitarian bowls such as this could have been used for either
eating or drinking.
