Olaid decoration of a chrysanthemum surrounded by a
double ring in the well. Except for a few gaps, it is completely
glazed, and scars from three silica chips are apparent on the
base. A large firing crack runs from the lip to the center of
the dish.
The prominent crack in this dish suggests this piece was a
kiln-waster, or a piece which became faulty during the fir-
ing process and would have been discarded after it was taken
