                                                             the recessed footrim is unglazed.

                                                             The decoration and shape of this waste receptacle were cop-
                                                             ied from contemporary Chinese wares. Although a faithful
                                                             copy of a Chinese design, the painting is applied in a less
                                                             restricted, Korean fashion with minimal outlines and leaves
