              Comprising: six carved overlay glass
              bottles, five inside painted glass bottles, two
              enamelled glass bottles, of which one with a
              Qianlong mark and one bearing Guyuexuan
              mark, two carved glass bottles, two green
              stone bottles, a painted enamel bottle with
              a Qianlong mark, a grey agate bottle carved
              with archaistic designs, a tiger’s eye bottle
              and a cylindrical porcelain bottle enamelled
              in iron red with a dragon amongst clouds;
              together with three volumes on Chinese snuff
              bottles: L. S. Perry, Chinese Snuff Bottles,
              Charles E. Tuttle Company Publishers,
              Japan, 1960; R. Hall, Chinese Snuff Bottles
              II, Techprinting Ltd, 1989; R. Hall, Chinese
              Snuff Bottles III, Techprinting Ltd, 1990; and a
              Sotheby’s 1998 catalogue.
              The largest: 9.8cm (3 7/8in) high (25).

              bottles
              Qing Dynasty and later
              Comprising: an inside-painted glass bottle
              painted with a Manchu official, inscribed
              Yan Yutian, made in winter, renshen year; a
              lapis lazuli bottle with matching stopper; four
              overlay glass bottles; seven agate bottles;
              two puddingstone bottles; five inside painted
              bottles. The inside painted bottle: 7cm (2
              3/4in) high (40).
