plaque; two porcelain corn-form snuff bottles;

hued bottle carved with a magnolia bud; an

crystal bottle carved with a bat; an amethyst
bottle carved with a scholar; a jet bottle,
stopper.

Comprising an oviform bottle decorated with
calligraphy and an iron red seal ‘tao’, Qianlong
seal mark; a famille rose bottle enamelled with
Zhong Kui, Daoguang seal mark; and an iron-
red bottle also decorated with Zhong Kui. The
iron-red bottle: 8cm (3 1/8in) high (3).

The first carved in relief with a continuous
scene of a sage on horseback and an
attendant, the reverse with figures in a boat,
before pine, lingzhi and a fruiting peach tree
issuing from pierced rockwork; the second
with antiquities and scholars’ utensils set
on tables, both on snow storm grounds,
stoppers.
The largest bottle 6.7cm (2.5/8in) high.
