A PAIR OF CLOISONNÉ SAGES RIDING ELEPHANTS
Constructed in sections as a facing pair of elephants with heads
turned outward and trunks turning upward, the removable blankets
hanging across their backs below two sages facing forward with
removable hats on their heads and scepters in their hands, the
surfaces inlaid in bright colors and some of the exposed metal
surfaces finished with gilt wash.

Of compressed baluster form covered in coral and malachite
cabochons surrounding polychrome enameled reserves unusually
depicting fish, chickens, sheep, and agricultural products, all raised
atop a flared foot stamped silver to the underside.

Inlaid in brilliant colors against a turquoise enamel ground with
opposing pairs of mandarin ducks swimming among lotus plants and
butterflies fluttering above, the lid shaped like a curling green lotus
leaf with stem-shaped finial; with lacquered wood display stand.

A CLOISONNÉ ENAMELED DRUM-SHAPED STAND
The bulging sides decorated with two opposing shaped panels
enclosing objects from the One Hundred Antiques motif, divided by
quatrefoil apertures, all against a ground of floral scrolls, between
two rows of bosses and bands of peach and pomegranate boughs
alternating with shou medallions, the top decorated with a floral
medallion surrounded by bats and floral scrolls.
