The rounded sides are covered in a thick glaze of
greyish-blue color paling to a mushroom tone at
the slightly inverted rim and stopping unevenly
above the buf foot.

A PURPLE-SPLASHED JUNYAO CONICAL
BOWL
YUAN DYNASTY (1279-1368)
The bowl is covered inside and out with a thick,
milky lavender-blue glaze thinning to mushroom-
brown at the rim and stopping above the purplish-
brown foot. There is a tapering, purple splash on
the interior below the rim.
