A CARVED QINGBAI BOWL

SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)
The bowl has widely fared sides that rise to the slightly everted, petal-notched
rim, and is carved in the interior with a leafy peony stem. The bowl is covered
overall with a thin bluish glaze which pools in the recesses.
