           terras’ and ‘Nec tempore nec fato’; the dish
           brightly enamelled and gilt with the arms of
           Annesley, bearing the motto ‘Virtutis amore’.

           MAS’UD MIRZA ZILL, AND A CANTON
           FAMILLE ROSE DISH
           Circa 1879-80 and 19th century
           Comprising: a large punchbowl decorated
           with lobed medallions containing alternating
           figural scenes and floral bouquets with
           birds and butterflies on a ground of lotus
           blossoms, the exterior with en-suite
           decoration and inscribed medallions on a
           band near the rim; a pair of dishes en-suite;
           together with a Canton famille rose dish. The
           largest: 33.8cm (13 1/4in) wide (4).
