the broad rounded sides rising from a short foot, the exterior painted in inky cobalt tones with the Eight Immortals carrying their
respective attributes and traversing a roiling copper-red sea on various animals and improvised vessels, their garments billowing
to accentuate the movement, Shoulao similarly depicted in the central medallion at the interior, underglaze-blue double lines
around each side of the rim, a band of copper-red keyfret encircling the foot, the base with a six-character seal mark in underglaze
blue
