A VERY RARE CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL STEM CUP
Incised Qianlong four-character mark and of the period
Exquisitely modelled with a deep U-shaped cup standing on a tall
splayed foot, the exterior brilliantly decorated in pink, yellow, blue, red
and white enamels with evenly spaced blossoming lotus borne on
leafy tendrils, all between ruyi-head borders and reserved on a rich
turquoise ground.

清乾隆 銅胎掐絲琺瑯纏枝蓮紋高足杯 陰刻「乾隆年製」楷書款

Compare a similar cloisonné enamel stem cup, Qianlong four-
character mark and period, from the Qing Court Collection, illustrated
in Compendium of Collections in the Palace Museum: Enamels 2
Cloisonné in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), Beijing, 2011, no.275; and
see another, also from the Qing Court Collection, but decorated with
chi dragons, Qianlong four-character mark and period, illustrated in
ibid., no.276.

杯侈口，斂腹，下腹微鼓，高足，足底外撇。杯外壁以天藍釉為地
色，飾纏枝蓮花四朵，口沿處飾如意雲頭紋，杯身近高足處則飾蕉葉
紋一周，近足底處以紅色琺瑯填飾如意雲頭紋一周，底部陰刻「乾隆
年製」四字楷書款。

此杯整器釉色純正，色調鮮明，圖案佈局疏密有致。此類高足杯多在
清宮宗教儀式中使用，也可作為陳設器。北京故宮博物院藏一件類似
的清乾隆銅胎掐絲琺瑯高足杯可資參考，見《故宮博物院藏品大系：
琺瑯器編2清掐絲琺瑯》，北京，2011年，圖275；另對比一件器形相
似的清乾隆螭龍紋高足杯，見同著錄，圖276。
