17TH/18TH CENTURY

the duck shown recumbent resting, grasping a lotus spray in
its beak with one end curled around its neck, its wings folded
on the sides, with two smaller ducks to its head and rear
respectively, the stone of a pale greenish-white color with
russet and white inclusions

carved recumbent with its head turned sharply over its back,
its feet tucked beneath and its nely incised wings folded to
the side, with its young at its side, both grasping a single peach
sprig between their beaks, perforated with two holes at the
base, the stone of an even white colour, wood stand
