the well-hollowed tapering vessel deftly carved in the form
of the recumbent mythical bird, with nely stylised plumage
and long curled tail elegantly ared upwards toward the
back, carved to one side with a clambering chilong above an
archaistic scroll band, the stone of a greyish celadon tone with
black specks

the rounded sides rising from a spreading foot, carved in
relief with a band of stylised foliate scrolls and oral blossoms
between two bands of lappets, the domed cover similarly
carved with foliage and surmounted with a coiled oral nial,
the stone of an even pale celadon tone
