By the Ando Jubei Company, Meiji (1868-1912)
or Taisho (1912-1926) era, early 20th century
Worked in silver wire of varying gauge with a complementary design of
a stem of blooming white rose and bud trailing across the front of the
body, reserved on a slate-grey ground; each vase signed on the lime-
green base in silver wire with the Ando seal.
Each vase: 30cm (11¾in) high. (2).

The tall neck worked in gold wire moriage with a formal design of a
Buddhistic necklace, comprising jewels in bright, transparent enamels
hanging from the rim and draped downwards, above the plain cream-
coloured squat round body, applied with a silver rim and foot; signed
on the base in gold wire with the Ando seal.
