           A FINE SATSUMA TALL BEAKER VASE
           By Yabu Meizan (1853-1934), Meiji era (1868-1912),
           late 19th/early 20th century
           The trumpet-mouthed cylindrical vessel with low inset foot, the body
           with two lobed panels, one with a continuous scene of a wedding
           procession, the other depicting a thatched dwelling by a lake,
           separated by densely grouped chrysanthemum heads, beneath a neck
           of trailing purple and white wisteria; signed on the base with a gold
           seal Yabu Meizan. 19.7cm (7¾in) high.
