Tibet, 17th/18th century Wearing a pointed cap and ample robes,
Seated on two rectangular cushions the right hand stretched out in varadamudra
detailed with brocade motifs and sprays of holding a lotus blossom, the left hand across
blossoming lotus, clad in a peaked layered the lap holding a small water pot, all on an
headdress and ample robes, the right hand integral base relief decorated with eight small
held before his chest holding a vajra and the Buddhist deities at the front and incised with
left hand resting on his lap. 18.2cm (7 1/8in) two rows of Tibetan script on the reverse.
