The central Amithaba holding an alms bowl,
surrounded by Bodhisattvas, Dakinis and
other meritorious souls; and a central figure
of Green Tara at the centre of her palace in
the Sandalwood Forest, flanked by yellow
Marichi and blue Ekajati, surrounded by
Celestial Musician and dancers. Each
61.5cm (24 1/4in) high x 43.5cm (17 1/8in)
wide (2).

SHAKYAMUNI AND MANDALA
Tibet, 20th century
One with a central Buddha Shakyamuni
seated on a lotus pedestal holding an
alms bowl flanked by two Arhat and in the
background narrative scenes of the life of
Buddha; and two thangkas with central
mandala representation of celestial heaven,
one with gilt profiles, and surrounded by
four smaller ones and figures of guardians,
with at the top a figure of Avalokitesvara.
The biggest: 73cm (28 3/4in) high x 53.5cm
(21in) wide (3).
